Winx
The Winx is a group of fairies formed by Bloom in the beginning of the first season. Initially it was a group of five fairies: Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa and Tecna. Layla joined the group in the second season, and Roxy became a part of the group in the end of the fourth season. The pixies has "bonded" to the fairies in the second season, and all the Winx fairies got their magical pets in the fourth season. Within the series the word "Winx", in the original version, as Bloom suggests, it has no meaning, although it is not in the edits made by 4Kids Entertainment, where it had a meaning of the magical power that fairies have.
